Anyone who is looking for a digital caliper should look at this item on @#$%& : 6513039205
The seller also has Dremel diamond grinding bits for sale at a very reasonable price for
guide feet prep and any number of other household chores.

if anyone wants the 6 inch version, i visited my local harbor freight tool emporium and the 6 inch version is listed for around $29 i think. on their web site, it's listed on sale for $15.99. the local shop said they'd honor the online deal if a printout of the page was brought in. looks like the same brand.

Hi Ken,

He sure has a lot of stuff. Might just have to open my wallet and buy something.

Well since I also am into lapidary work ( cabbing and faceting) I manage to convince myself that I can "double duty" out
of the diamond wheels and grinders and the grinding set up (water cooled 600 grit wheel) really makes a smooth,
fast guide taper - calipers are always shared duty tools as are gem scales (reading carats, ounces and grains)...
jeweler's loups magnifying lenses "cross trading" tools.

Here's another place that has a good deal on a nice digital caliper. [www.sportsmansguide.com] I have three of these and all work very well. They have very good service as well.
