Hmmm.....I added to a thread about salt use, but it seems to be in cyberspace somewhere.....
To the question.....a quick search at search revelas little about glass coat and salt water rods....whereas glass coat's a fairly new product, is there enough history by users in cold water salt conditions to "get a reading" on suitability? How's it holding up? I have a request to do some rodwork for a chap for the cold salt, and want to use GC....but iffen it aint gonna last a while........... TIA (thx in advance) KD Re: Glass Coat and Salt Water.....COLD Salt Water......

I've used it on many saltwater rods. It's as tough and long lasting as anything else. It's not really a new product, although it's not been marketed specifically to rod builders until about 2 or 3 years ago.

Date: February 14, 2005 03:59PM Thank you , Tom..appreciated. I have only been on the internet for about as long as the product's been moved to rod building.... so it's good to know it's 'track record' is a good-un. KD Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
