Butt Wrap

I am in the process of finishing up a rod that will have a butt wrap and a hook holder. The question that I have is....Is it OK to wrap the hook holder on the handle side, then combine the butt wrapping to the hook holder on the tip side? So basically what I would have (starting at the handle) is a wrap to secure the hook holder (its secured in 2 places), the hook holder, a wrap to secure the hook holder, as well as the decorative butt wrap, the butt wrap design and then the wrap to secure the end of the butt wrap design towards the tip of the pole. Did I confuse anyone???? Thanks in advance for who could understand what I mean.

No rules on buttwraps, Dick. Nothing wrong with that at all.

If you like the way it looks....go with it. Nothing is set in stone. Check out some of Rapt Tite's guide wraps. Very creative, and amazing
