spiral wrap

how quik do i spiral down a flipping stik with only 6 guides and a tiptop ? i build several spiral wraps and I usually use more guides
but this is a rewrap and where the guides fall i cant add any with out screwing things up...
Any help would be greatly appriciated thanks

Put them back right where they are, but flip them all to the bottom except for the first one (butt guide). Now add a guide inbetween the first two, but put it at 90 degrees. You'll love it.

so the first guide parralell to the ground the second guide 90 degrees
the rest 180 degrees to the first?

Yes. Make the single transition guide very small and low frame. Try to get by with an 8 or 10. No larger.

will do i think my 1st guide is a 12 so the rest will be smaller

The only thing the transition guide will do in this instance is keep the line from rubbing the side of the blank. It does not redirect the line. You'll be surprised at straight your line path will be.
