Big news from Pacific Bay

Folks:

We just heard from our friends at Pacific Bay about a super promo:

Purchase a Pac Bay Rodsmith winding machine, and get a FREE
model RDM-1 Drying Machine. (The offer ends on May 1st, 2005)

Incidentally, many of you may already know that Pacific Bay recently re-vamped
their Rodsmith, which is now shipped in 3 sections, eliminating the need for
oversize shipping charges.

For those of you who have been pondering the purchase of this fine piece of equipment,
there is no better time than now!

Will this machine be on demo at the National Rodbuilding Show in Charlotte?

Yes, as Dean says this is a great deal. Now that Pacific Bay has copied the improved "L" rod support invented first by American Tackle Company on their wrappers, the PB wrapper is now as good as others being offered. Customers should buy these up.

Dean, will the free dryer deal be available at the show? And will a purchase there mean no shipping charges? I have been considering a new wrapper, and have been waiting for the show in the hope of seeing one of the Pac Bay wrappers. I don't want to go to the expense of the Renzetti, since I do my handle & seat turning on a mini lathe from PSI. I am just looking for a good platform that allows easy moving of the thread carriage, and puts the spools of thread in front of the blank instead of behind it.

Dear Fran:

Yes. This offer will be available at the Charlotte show. We will have a limited quantity
of machines at our booth. If they are sold out during the show, we can still
take orders for them, however freight charges will apply. (Hopefully, we will
have enough of these machines on hand to satisfy everyone.)

To get the free dryer, you will receive a voucher with your Rodsmith purchase.
Mail it to Pac Bay alongwith the sales receipt, and they will send you the dryer
free of charge.

I look forward to meeting you there.
