Hi all,
I haven't posted here for a while but I still check in on the site everyday. I've been waiting to upload some new photos until the new software was installed, but it's getting close to the show date so I went ahead and posted. Wanted to show you some of the new designs you can see in person if you are coming to Charolette. Worst case I will repost latter, no big deal. My brother also did some photo work for me that won't show in the Photo Page format. They are Quicktime VRs. If you want to view them you will need Quicktime viewer (free download - [www.apple.com]). The links to to VRs are below. These are 500+K files, so if you are on dial up it might take a while. [classiccustomwood.com] [classiccustomwood.com] [classiccustomwood.com] [classiccustomwood.com] [classiccustomwood.com] I think these are neat!! He's my brother, he's good and here is his link. Gota give credit where it's due!! [www.contentarts.com] Looking forward to meeting many of you in Charolette!! Ray Re: new photos

Beautiful work!! Where do you get your Fuji reel seats. I saw them on the Fuji sites, but couldn't find them listed with any of the sponsor sites. Bill in WV Re: new photos

William,
I get them thru Binghams - a sponsor on the left and a joy to work with. Thanks to all for the kind remarks. Re: new photos

Ray, those really are sweet. I'm not into fly rods, but that is a kck behind handle. I like how you switched the colors in the middle, as well as at the top & bottom of the grip. REally neat.
I do apprecaite all teh help you've given me with these types of grips, I'm looking foward to seeing these in person, & hopefully have a few minutes with you to pick up a tip or two. I'll leave you alone for a while, as I suspect you'll get 10 e-mails asking "how'dJa do that" Re: new photos

Billy,
The beauty is you can do it any style of handle you want. I've just done it in the fly handle to have some display models for the show ( it is in conjuction with the fly fishing show). Re: new photos

And any type of material. Although if you get arrested by teh Fly Fishing Police, I don't know you. lol. Gonna be fun, will you have any free samples of grips to hand out? Ill gladly help dole them out, lol again.
The pictures/movies are sweet as well. Re: new photos

Absolutely beautiful work Ray.
Now if they will only catch fish, they are near perfection. Re: new photos

Those are some of the best I have seen in my 20+ years of rod building. The last picture of the fly rod is my favorite.
Cheers, Ellis Re: new photos
