I have a Sage Xi2-4 890 (9', 8wt., 4-piece saltwater fly rod). Sage recommends the following guides: 5 #3's, 1 #4, 1 #5, 1 12LR, and 1 20LR.
I'd like to put the nice Fuji guides on the rod, but am not sure about sizing. Can anyone recommend a compatible set of Fuji single-foot titanium SiC or Alconite guides? Something that matches 5 #3's, 1 #4, 1 #5, 1 12LR, and 1 20LR. I guess the bottom two guides don't have to be single-foot. I'm just looking for a matching set in the optimal sizes. Or any other suggestions for guides on this rod! Thanks in advance, C. J. Re: Fuji Fly Guide Sizing

I would do this - SVSG 16 • SVSG 12 and then all #8's in the SG or LSG models. Those are SIC, but you could obtain that same frame in any of the other materials about as well.

Thanks for the advice Tom. At shops, those guides are described as available in either chrome or gunsmoke. Do you know if they are made of titanium, and somehow colored? Or are those made of something else?
