Hello,
I don't know exactly what means ERN for spinning rods, in Common Cents system. If is something similar to fly rods, so ERN equal the max. lure casting weight? Where I can find the theory about CCS, infact how to measure AA and ERN for my rods? Thanks, Caro Re: CCS for spinning rods

Caro,
Using the search engine above you'll find many discussions on this subject, and listings of the articles involved. Also I believe Tom has offered reprints of just those articles for a fee someplace back in the archives. All the best to you and yours. Spencer Re: CCS for spinning rods

ERN is a relative measurement scale for rod power, not casting lure weight. There are some equations you can use to relate it to lure weight if you wish, but when available I would go by the manufacturer's rating.
RodMaker Magazine Volume 6 #'s 3, 4 and 5 have the bulk of the system. You could probably obtain these from Mr. William Van de Vorst in The Netherlands. His contact info is on the RodMaker Magazine subscription page. .......... Re: CCS for spinning rods
