powerwrapper

i'm thinking about buying a powerwrapper ive been looking at the The custom powerwrap manufactured in woodland washington has anyone ever used this wrapper? would like opinions before i purchase one pro's & con's.

I looked at that one before I bought my Renzetti. For me it was a matter of having a lathe that put the thread on the rod from above and behind rather than below and in front like the CPW. But both are great machines. The two best IMO.

I for one am hoping to see both versions of power wrappers at the show. I am ready to upgrade, and would like to see them both first hand. I remember seeing the Renzetti last year, but at the time wasn't interested in upgrading.

Ken,
I use the CPW and I'm very happy with it. I learned to wrap with the thread coming from the bottom, between me and the rod, so I didn't have to change the way I wrap. I also got a good deal on a used CPW (biggest factor). I do like the spool tension on the thread like the Renzetti, but I'm thinking of modifying my CPW to do this. Both are excellent machines.
