I have been using it for almost 2 years. I like it.
For the price it's hard to beat. I shape cork , apply finish, dry and wrap (unpowered) on it.

I got one too. It`s the generally the same as the Pac-Bay.had it about a year now and love it.Building as a hobby I couldn`t convince myself or the wife that I needed a Renzetti(wish had on though).Nice thing is the Pac-Bay heavy duty chuck bolts right on and makes a vast improvement if you want to turn cork or eva.

Tom, I have been using the Forecast for about 2 seasons. I think it is worth the money spent. It's not the precise machine such as a Renzetti or a Jet/Delta mini/standard lathe, but for a home build like myself, it accomplishes the job I need it to do. I know of quite a few cutom rod shops and repair shop who employ them daily to make business happen. They seem to be satisfied.
Since I don't build rods as a business, I can't justify buying a Renzetti, even though I know my wife would approve of the purchase. It's a really nice machine, I just can't come to terms with the cost. Beside, I still do most of my wrapping on a a basic manual wrapper. Once I finsih my shop above the garage, I'll will certainly use the Forecast to wrap rods, again.
Hope I helped to shed a little light.

Hi Tom--I've used the wrapper personally and have sold a number of them to what are now very satisfied customers. It's a great mid-range wrapper and an EXCELLENT value. You'll get a lot of use out of it.
