experiment with marbeled rod bond

Couple weeks ago I posted in regards to fixing a trigger grip. I decided to try and fix it by tinting rod bond with testors and buiding up the top part of the trigger with it and sanding/filing it to shape. I guess I will find out how durable rod bond is when put to a task it wasn't made for (I did order a replacement trigger just in case. I did discover that you have to mix in alot of testors (6 drops per two 1/4 teaspoons of rod bond) to get it to turn a nice black color. I used gloss black and it seems to not show the opaqueness of rod bond. Will keep you posted when it dries and I shape it.
