Batson Thread Tensioner

Been wrapping rods by hand for quite some time and just got a batson forecast power wrapper for x-mas. I will never wrap by hand again! power wrappers are definately the way to go, however, i can't figure out the tread tensioning device. When i tighten the screw on the top to get more tension, the whole thing turns like it should be secured some way but it isn't. Has anyone had any problems with this model......any advice????
Thanks,
Matt

Matt, on my Batson wrapper, only the knurled knob turns. Everything else stays still. Send an email to Batsons. They will take care of you.
