Flexcoat Power Wrapper DL747?

I am considering purchasing a Flexcoat OEM power wrapper model DL747. I plan to use it to build rods as a small business and for my personal use. I am looking for comments, pro and con, from people who own or have used this unit. Thanks much!

Rich, I have two of them and would recommend them any day. They are well built and I love the way the thread holders operate. YOu can use the small spools or bulk spools. And they both operate with ease.

Kit.

Thanks for taking time to give your opinion on this machine. So far everything I have heard and read has been very positive on this power wrapper. Looks like I'll be ordering one soon.

i have had mine for about a month now, and love it. i wrapped about 6 rods using a non powered wrapper before buying this one and there is no comparison. it all goes faster and the wraps are tighter. i live close to the "factory" and drove over w/my wife and daughter and got the 50 cent tour and a a personal lesson from roger. this is a family owned/operated business that takes its time and does things right. i met the wife, the dog, the house, the casting range etc etc. have no doubts, they know what they are doing and are rightly proud of it. the whole family is involved and they make and use the same products they sell to you. the excellent video they sell? they went out and bought a camera and did it themselves to make sure it got done right. for sure, get a DL747.

Thanks for the information. Does the fiber board seem strong compared to solid hardwood? What city is the factory in?

Thanks again.
