Evenin'Gentlemen...
I have a customer that wants me to build a rod for him using a "Thailand" rodblank...the rod he has now,(a Thailand), is broken and was built by a custom builder in Ft.Worth, and is out of business.
So....has anyone ever heard of a rodblank named "Thailand" ??

Thank You...
MaryLou

Good Evenin to you MaryLou,
I'm sure there is lots of people out there that would not call me a gentleman, but it sure sounds nice coming from a Texas lass. I never heard of those blanks down here, if they were supposed to have have been made in Thailand I doubt they would have the facilities in Thailand to make them, however I do recall a rod that sold downunder with a similar name but it came out of China . Sorry I can't help, but I'm sure there will be plenty of help forth coming. Take care chat to you when the bub is born.

Regards

The spelling is not close but the pronounciation of the word is a clue that it possibly could be a "Talon" blank.

Try talongraphite.com for info if Bill is correct. Sounds like he's got it right to me. Angler's Workshop carries Talon blanks.
