Casting in Charlotte

The National Rod Builders' Show has effectively doubled in size this year. Twice as many vendor booths require twice as much room. So, this year the show will expand into an additional aisle.

We will again have our own casting area and with luck, we'll have water in it with the target casting rings as well. We'll most likely set it up at the head of one of the aisles rather than down and behind one of them as we did last year. The "pool" will be large and long enough to about any type casting you want, short of long distance surf casting (although there's room to do that behind the rod building area along the full length of the exhibition hall - we'd prefer that people are not slinging 5 ounces of lead indoors where someone might get hurt).

The Featured Rod Builder booth area will be larger than a single booth so that we can better handle the expected crowds. The demos that take place there won't be quite as detailed as those being presented upstairs in the seminar rooms. They're designed more for close-up, quick instructional purposes and will be taking place during the day, both days.

......and then, if you absolutely, positively need to sling lead with a surf rod, there's always that big pond down the road called Lake Norman!

Batson Enterprises - Rainshadow/Forecast will have fly rods and a Surf rod for folks to cast at the show. This is the best way for folks to get a feel of our blanks and to see our component line on Built rods.We will also have handle assemblies built with our component on them. We will also have All of our guides wrapped on pieces of blanks so folks can see them and pick them up. We are gearing up for this show and plan on having an excellent show.
We will have a few of our Authorized distributors there that you can purchase our products from. ( Fish Sticks 4 U, Schneiders and possibly Custom Tackle supply) Feel free to contact them and I am sure they will bring items that you need with them. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact us. We will also bring our 80 pg color component catalog and our new 40 page Blank catalog for all to have (Free). IMHO the most comprehensive catlogs in the industry.
Thank you to everyone for the support all have shown to our programs.
