Dale,

Forcast & Tigereye blanks are good for the money spent. Batsin (or problebly you mean Batson) makes Forcast blanks. If you give more info on what type of rod your building you will get more info.

Batson has two lines of blanks, the premium Rainshadow line and the economical Forecast line. Click on the Rainshadow/Forecast link at the left.

batson's forecast offerings are imported so i'm not sure it would be accurate to say they make the forecast lineup. any details would be interesting...

i have one tiger-eye, a nine foot 4/5 or 5/6, i forget. looks nice, looking forward to building it up one of these days although i noticed the butt section is bigger than most for that size fly rod. NONE of the reel seats i've stockpiled fits as is... dang

Dale,
All those blanks generally look nice and generally good quality. Some depend on with model and for what purpose you want it for. Some imports have uniformity problems and some are very good.
I would also check out the ATC Matrix Series from American Tackle and the SCII blanks from St. Croix if you are looking for the similar price range and excellent quality.
