HI All,
I just purchased a T&T Horizon 10wt and am looking for some recomendations on guides!! What would be better? The single foot wire guides, single foot alluminum or titanium, or snake guides? Any benefits? Thanks, Trapper Re: 10wt Fly Rod Guides???

I have built and fished about 10 saltwater rods in the last two years. I started with Pac Bay TiCH snake guides, and they work fine. Now, however, I use only the Fuji titanium framed single foot guides. They are light weight, which is important to casting, and corrosion proof. The biggest difference is noticed when playing a fish. They are much smoother and quieter. If you don't want to spend the money for the titanium frames, the regular TiCH plated frame SIC guides are fine, too. Either way, I strongly recommend you give SIC guides a try. Re: 10wt Fly Rod Guides???
