Christmas present

Thought some of you guys/gals might enjoy this. My step daughter and her husband gave me this Martha Stewart thread rack for christmas (probably whipped it up in the prison wood shop) and I thought some of you might like to pick one up. Good price.

Is that rack covered? I always thought (never told) that thread should be kept out of the light (any kind of light) to cut down om fading. If that is not right it would make my storage of thread a lot easier. Larry Tysinger Re: Christmas present

No it is not covered but I would think it would take along time to fade the thread unless it was in direct sun. Could be wrong and if so I will find out.
