Grip Flocking

Tom, for those builders who did not get the Rodmaker issue showing how to flock grips and seats and stuff, have you considered adding a flocking demo to the Charlotte show seminar list? I think it would make for a neat hands-on demo. Just a suggestion.

Flocking has already been added, along with a rod photography session, to the Featured Rod Building Booth. It will be listed in the next Show update.

The RodMaker article covered about all the bases on flocking, but it does make for a good demo for those who haven't seen the article. I'll be the one presenting that one, since I wrote the article and have flocked probably 300 grips, seats, blanks, etc. over the years. I've probably flocked nearly as much stuff as Mike and Randy have marbled.

I don't know about Randy but that's about 275 (give or take) more flocked rods than I have done marble!

Looking forward to the flocking demo!!!

I get such a kick out of people putting up the weather report. It is -40 C here and for you who do not know C at -40 it is also -40F.
