Charlotte buying spree

Well Charlotte is going to be too good an opportunity for me to miss buying some of the goodies I've wanted to try out for awhile... Glass Coat CP, AFTCO finish, colored cork rings (best I saw last year were from Custom Tackle) gizmos and gadgets (that digital caliper) and an opportunity to re-stock some stuff like U-40 products -- and of course some rod blanks will inevitably also wind up in back of the truck for the ride back home. Good thing I put the heavy duty shocks on - now I'd better check on the tires as well.

Since the show is at the end of February I may have recovered from Christmas gifting... The cost of the shop was something that I had committed to at the beginning of last year. It was too crowded, too dimly lit and the lay out was totally inefficient. I HAD to make that change... my fear is that now I'll be sorely tempted to purchase all new turning gear --- I've always wanted a metal lathe ( I can hear the coins dropping for that one --- $1,500 - $2,000)... and a "full up" Renzetti... and a better band saw... and a "mini" modeller's table saw.. Soooo many toys (so many choices of what to buy / afford) !

Hey Ken,
Are you sure they'll be room left for me? Or am I going to have to sit on boxes? lol

Well = at this point I'm looking at 1 8' long folding table; 1 4' wide x 8' high display rack; a slide projector, a screen for same; four to six rods to hang in the overhead of the cap and some other odds and ends / bits and pieces. So, SURE plenty of room in BOTH directions!
