Thanks guys.. we'll work on the "look and feel" a bit more later. We really needed to upgrade the software, and getting it looking as much as possible how you've all come to love it.
It's 12:35AM here in Ontario. We'll work on look and feel stuff after a rum and coke, and a good night sleep, just happy that the upgrade and maintenance worked as well as it did!! Re: a test post

03.40pm down here in Australia, Looks good won't take long to get use to. I'm on dialup and the page now loads about twice as fast.

Hey Myles! That's great to hear! The upgraded version was supposed to be faster as well, but seeing as it's right on our network, hard to compare milliseconds. But good to know you are finding some performance increases. Thank you for letting me know that. Re: a test post

Ian ...
Small residual "bug"? I tried to re-register to find my password (so I didn't have to retype my name / address on each post. Auto reply from the form was "Email address not found".. and I seem to have gotten used to the new look already. Old but still flexible I guess. Re: a test post

Hey fellow Ontarians! I didn't realize the webmasters were in my neighborhood. Come on, I'm still up working, although a rum and coke and a good night sleep sounds good.
I prefer the old "look" too but my wife always says I'm resistant to change. We do need a larger font... Good night from Campbellville Ontario. Mark Re: a test post

Ken, you would never have had to "register" on this board before. That is a new feature that I will discuss with Tom Kirkman. Don't worry about it - I do see the fact that cookies are not remembering the Name and Email fields - another thing we will look into. Re: a test post

I used to build custom rods myself. But got into this business. I always confuse Campbellville with Campbellford. Campbellville.. what part of the Province is that in again? Re: a test post

I like the new functionality such as getting back to the Forum List. The look is unsettling, but I'll adjust if the site functions better and loads faster. Gimme function over form any day.

I will miss the "notification" of a new post in a thread. Especially being able to see who authored the new post. Re: a test post

Agree that the "New" flag will be missed. And I definitely do not like the font being used in the main text, hard to read. The old font was fine with me. Re: a test post

I miss the view thread. That way I would only have to click on the new posts. But it loads faster . Re: a test post

Restrictions will not be lifted on BellSouth until they agree to abide by their own terms of user contact. Sorry.
