Spinning Rod

It is a spinning rod and plan on using it for a heavy action bass rod and a for fishing from docks and some jetties for a light action saltwater rod. I will be casting 1/2 to 1 1/2 ounce lures. I was thinking on using alconites SF's and was wondering what would be the best or if i should not use single foots.
Thanks
Brian

Alconite SF are fine on this rod. Use _YAG's and _LAG's. Sizes will be governed by the reel size and line weight. As with all SF guides be sure to put a security wrap on them.

Brian,
You also might consider titanium or titanium plated guides. These could be the ticket for being the best choice against s/w corrosion, and besides they are light weight and look good.
I was thinking either Fuji titanium (if you want cadillac). Also consider Forecast or Pac. Bay with the TiCH or lite titanium carbide frames.
