Tom, I fish lead core a bunch for trout & salmon, and have found the aftco swivelling roller tips to be an excellent, though heavy option. I fished for years with a Penn 49L and an ancient boat rod with metal guides, and caught an awful lot of lakers, but for bigger fish like kings, the roller top is nice. Great for 7-strand wire as well. Don Eurillo Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
