Folks I'm having a heck of a time. In response to my question several of you suggested Tom Kirkmans "Rod building Guide" (I notice his name shows quite often in this forum), all well and good but I ask you, here can I get one?
I thank ya'll for your help, and please don't give up on me
Ron

Just about any sponsor on the left carries it! I know Mudhole does. The best $15 you will ever invest. That book, this site and a subscription to Rodmaker magazine and you'll be hooked for life!!!!

Ron , that book , this site , the Glossary , library , and the search feature are almost all the info you will need to get you on your way .
Question will round out the info to get you out of any jam you can put yourself in . If you want to start on the more complexed decorative wraps , Clemens makes "Custom Rod Thread Art" book , very informative for layout , and instructions . Toms book gives a great description of a diamond wrap too. Good luck . John
