I made a mistake.....

..with regard to how many blanks you could expect to see at the National Rod Builders' Show in Charlotte. Yesterday I mistakenly stated that there would be about 3,000 blanks there for you to choose from. That was inaccurate and I apologize for the error.

As it turns out, the number should have been 4,000+. Again, I apologize for the error.

Tom, I read a sign today that fits most of us pretty well

" if a man spoke in the forest and there was no woman to
hear him, would he still be wrong?"

An enterprising person with a scale, and a big pile of pennies could sure get a good database together... I would pay a few bucks to see it.

Interesting that Tom's first post after the one mentioning waddle, waggle, and wiggle, concerned his girlfriend.

I thought I made a mistake once -- but I was wrong? ... Tom, a mistake on the low side is an "error in estimation" ... 1,000 rather than 4,000 would have still been more than most people could reasonably handle (or "fondle") and appreciate. Being magnanimous (and thankful) readers we humbly forgive you ............ LOL

Well at any rate, the show is shaping up beyond expectations. The vendors are very excited and we're going to have a huge crowd. It's going to be something to remember.

You made an error, found it, corrected it. That is no mistake.

Anyone who wants to do so is free to do so. But you'll have to do it quickly, they'll start selling at 9 AM Saturday morning.

By the way, I arrived at that number by talking with some of the dealers who are confirmed to be there. Each gave me a figure of what they were bringing. We'll add another few dealers before the show date so even 4,000 is probably going to end up on the low side of what's actually there.
