Tom, I hope you allow this to post. On December 1, there was a posting from the aboved named company stating they were going out of business and everything would be discounted 50%. I immediately went to the web site and ordered over $300 worth of items. On every page was the following: "Going out of Business Sale. All retail orders will be marked down 50%. Discount is not reflected in price shown; discount will be given after order is received." I placed my order, was given an order number and submitted my credit card information. I had heard nothing as of today (Dec 6), so I phoned their office in LA. I spoke with a woman in the office and she explained that at the time I placed the order they were in liquidation and there would be no 50% discount. They also had recently been purchased by another company. I think their posting was dishonest and deceitful. I have an order confirmation that clearly states EVERY item is discounted 50% and yet that is not true. The company you ordered from is no longer in business so they cannot possibly honor your order. This was all covered in an earlier string of posts a few days ago. It doesn't need to be rehashed again. Thanks. .......... Re: Explanation..HortT-Edwards Supply

Sorry I missed it. Why was it on their web site if they can't possibly honor it? When I placed the order they were still in business! What they did was wrong. Re: Explanation..HortT-Edwards Supply

Spencer ,I too placed an order and was notified by e-mail that the discount will not apply,I e-mailed back to cancel the order and have not heard back.Did your order go through?I cant confirm what happened with my credit info(I trust Them with the #s but I dont Know if my account was charged and for how much).
