Plugging blank end ....... ?

Is there an easy way plugging the hole in the male end of a
blank - instead of making plugs to fit the inside dia. of the blank.
Just wondered if a rubber based or similar compound would
do the job satifactory....... !

In the past I have used small bottle corks held in by epoxy but I now agree, Rod Bond except when I want the contrast of the cork. Ralph

When I was up at the St Croix factory a few month ago, all they did was use a colored epoxy that matched the color of the blank.

I did'nt realise there were so many alternatives to plugging the male end of a blank.
