Does any one know where I can find rod socks/ rod covers for 1 piece rods, eight foot length? I found some, but not able to find any that length. Would like to keep my custom rods protected.

Thanks, Sean

I have no idea were to buy, but if you can get your hands on some fabric and a sewing machine it is easy to make one yourself...
The trick is sending your wife out shopping with enough money to spend, then use her sewing machine to make the rod sock, don`t ever tell her about it, because you may be the one who has to sew curtains instead of wrapping rods.....
I have made some "custom" rod socks for multi piece rods, the result has been great, I have even had orders from my fishing buddies........

God luck,

Richard

Sean

I get rod socks of any length made by Anglers Workshop. I just had them make me one for a one piece eight foot boat rod about a month ago.

We carry St. Croix rod socks. These are black rod socks that tie off nicely at the butt end. There is a one piece 8' model available and very reasonably priced. You might want to check these out.
