Started to make a handle for my sister today and looking around realized forgot to order glue to put the cork and seat onto the rod. And being that there is no flyfishing store around. Was wondering what other glues that I can use from the local stores? Tom Re: glue for handle

Think it is called Devcon which you should be able to find in a hardware store. Note- it is a lot thinner then rod bond so be careful you don't get it all over the place and your seat and handle. Taping these off helps Re: glue for handle

You are right. It is Devcon and it does go all over the place. But it works. Re: glue for handle

Weldwood plastic resin glue works great for gluing up cork rings. Any good epoxy, such as Devcon 2 ton, is good for gluing grip to blank, etc.Thomas Tysver wrote: > Started to make a handle for my sister today and looking around > realized forgot to order glue to put the cork and seat onto the > rod.
