Butt cap

I've had a couple butt caps fall off. I use Zpoxy to apply the handle components as well as the butt cap. What is the opinion of the best adhesive?

Rough-up both surfaces with 220 grit, wipe inside of butt-cap with denatured alchohol, apply rodbond, I've never had a butt-cap fall off with this arrangement.

Hiss... Boo on those ugly plastic or rubber butt caps. To those who still use the ugly things should do an archive search on "My Butt Caps" and try the custom molded ones. I've perfected the process to where it only takes a few minutes to make one, color it, and sand to shape. Everything but fly rods gets one now and my customers rave about the neat look. Best of all they can't come off unless you use a chop ax.

They work on EVA grips too.

To Tom K: If I could find a photographer I would send you the sequence and procedure. Maybe soon.

Capt. Harold
