Does anyone know if you should stir Flexcoat color preserver before use or just use as is? Thanks Bob Bogard Re: color preserver

well i stir water before i drink it so stiring or as i do shake up the cp is a good idea also u might consider the first coat being thined with water a little and the 2nd a little less and the 3rd not at all i have tried all ways and i can see no difference in the thined or stright coats . i also like the stright out of the bottle thickness as it helps seal the air bubbles so far knock on wood i have had no air bubbles in my finish ..hope this helps ..John T Burford aka Tightline Rod's Re: color preserver

Normally there is no need to thin it and sometimes problems if you do. I stir mine rather than shake as shaking seems to introduce bubbles. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
