Dan Craft (link to the left) has seven piece blanks for a very reasonable price. Re: 6-piece fly rod blank

Mick, You have to download Dan's catalog from his website. Click on the catalog icon on left side of the first page and this will open a new page, at the bottom of the new page is the directions and link to the catalog. Re: 6-piece fly rod blank

I received a 9' 5wt 4-piece Fiver Rivers blank from Dan last week. While I have not had a chance to build it and use it, I have assembled it and given it a few good "shakes." It's one of the straightest and most nicely finished blanks I've seen in some time. I suspect it will make a great finished rod. If Dan offers a 6 piece model, I think you'll enjoy it. .......... I bought a 5wgt 7pc blank from Dan Craft (Among other blanks and assorted guides/handles) a few seasons ago, and I'm now slowly assembling it as time, honey-do's, work, and school, permit. I hope to have it done over the Christmas school break to do some spring fishing. The action feels pretty good and I expect it to get even better once I wrap the guides (Single foot ceramic) to it. I highly recommend you give Dan the opportunity to fill your order. Patrick Vernacchio Re: 6-piece fly rod blank

Mick, Dan Craft a sponsor to the left used to custom cut his Sig IV blanks in a six piece configuration, but the one's I've heard of were trout weight rods. That doesn't mean he can't or hasn't done the same with a heavier weight blank. A super guy to do business with, great blanks, great customer service. Drop him an e-mail.
