I need some advice on building a spinning rod. Not too knowledgable about this area, as I'm sure it will show. The rod will be for medium size pike and small walleye, but still needs enough backbone for trolling some plugs and bottom bouncers. I'm guessing the lure weight when I'm not trolling will be 1/4-3/4 oz. It needs to be 2 pieces or more. Any suggestions for a low to medium price range? Re: Suggestions on pike spinning rod

The Rainshadow ISP 844-3 I think would work. Any of the 2 pc spin jig blanks in the 8 - 14 lb range, or popping blanks in the 8 -17 lb class I think would work. For a little more money the All Star BAST845CT-3 also looks like it would work. St Croix 2S70MF-3 might also work. The ML blanks I've used are pretty stiff for their weight rating. The St Croix SCII blanks are very nice for the price and would work good for what you want Mike Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
