Doug,
I guess no one has used the syringes with sumpreme.
I have been using the pumps for serveral months now with Flexcoat Lite. I have yet to have a failure due to improper mixing. They stay primed and ready to go. When you first get them, pump some epoxy out to remove bubbles and fill them and from there you should not have a problem.
Cheers, Ellis

Hello Doug
If they are intended for rod epoxy finishes using equal parts of hardener and resin they will work with any of them. I have been promoting and demonstration U40 products for a long time.

They work just fine.

I took the caps from an old set of discarded LS Supreme bottles, mounted them up on the lathe and turn them to bore an appropriate sized hole, and mounted the pumps in the LS bottle caps.

One thing about pumps - some tend to "leak down" (the material seeps back into the bottle) if not used often enough, then when pumped again afterwards will pump put the air that leaked into the pump chamber once or twice. Also, the hardener tends to crystallize on the spout opening necessitating an occasional cleanup.

For larger volumes get the West Systems Epoxy pumps, the pump that delivers 0.8 fl oz (eight-tenths oz) per pump. So with a pump of each I end up with 1.6 oz of finish.

Lou

Lou,
I am familiar with the Flex Coat epoxy pumps but it sounds like you are talking about something different. Will you give us a little more in the way of details or discription please. Is it something that you have made yourself?
