I'm looking for a rod blank similar to the Fenwick Fenglass, Something around 6'6" 1/4 - 1. Regarding hollow glass blanks, I found specific terms as S-glass, E-glass or just simple glass. What type of glass are used on Fenwick Fenglass? Acctually I like to use a rod made on an old Pezon et Michell spinning rod ('70th I suppose) but is a bit to heavy. Thanks. Re: Glass rods blanks

Hi Fleur, Fenglass blanks are actually S-Glass blanks. While they are no longer made for sales as blanks, other companies do make them still. Lamiglass is the first one that comes to mind. I would think that a graphite/glass composite would also fit your needs. Do a search of this sites Sponsors sites. I believe you will find something more than suitable for what you want. Tell us what your requirements and intended uses will be. By that,I mean power, action, etc. You will find many that frequent this site will be only too happy to offer their sound recommendations for specific blanks. Re: Glass rods blanks

Try Anglers's Workshop. They still carry fiberglass blanks that are very similar to Fenwick blanks. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
