2 handed guide sizes

I'm building a 2 handed rod and have wrapped all the guides on, but haven't epoxied yet - I'm undecided about the stripping rings! I've used a #16 and then a #12 stripper and then I had a #5 snake guide next but I changed it for a #10 stripper and next is a #5 and then 5 #4's and 4 #3's. Do you think this set-up with the stripping rings is ok. I don't generally see 3 stripping rings on commercially made rods.
The reason I put in a #10 stripper was, I thought it made the transition to the # 5 snake guide easier.
Any advice on this set-up would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Glen

Glen -
If it casts well - Go with it! This is all about learning and inventing. Not seeing something in a store means NOTHING!

Glen
Not being able to see one in a store is what makes it different. And when the angler is looking for something different, turning to a custom rod builder is the only way to get it.
