I am getting ready to build a 6'6" ultralight on a St. Croix 3S66ULF and I wanted some input with either of these guides, Fuji TATSG or REC recoil. I would think the Rcoil would have barely any weight. But the TATSG looks so sweet. Just wondering Mark Re: Fuji TATSG or REC Recoil

Mark. I just completely a 5' ultralight and concluded that the TATSG and all other single foot guides looked too clunky when matched with the REC light wire guides, which weigh nothing. Even a H & H stand up 10 titanium wire looked bulky. I opted for using a size 6 wire as a stripper. But on your blank, a size 10 TATSG might look alright, although a gold cermet might be a better match. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
