6'6" saltwater blank, 30-60lb, 4 pc.

I have been contacted by a customer that is looking for a 6'6" rod rated at 30-60lb test and must be 4 piece. I'm not havingt much luck in finding a blank with those stats. Need help please.

Check with Todd Vivian at Lamiglas he is their rod designer. Todd well also get you hooked up with one of their suppliers I Queston way a 6'6" 4 pcs rod that mean each section is about 19 1/2 inches long. Ihave never seen a rod with that kind of rateing in a 4pcs. Whattype of fish is he going to be doing?

I think that Shakespeare perhaps made a four piece blank that would fit your needs, I remember Capt. Harry's had them in their catalog a while back. Check with them.

I remember seeing a post reguarding a rod that heavy , and being milti piece . The guy was going to smuggle it onto an offshore rig at work . I looked , but couldn't find it , and I remember that there were a few suggestions. Good luck , JD

I just completed a 3 pc ocean rod ...it was made from a discontinued Shakespeare graphite one piece...I made ferrules for the sections out of solid blanks...The customer is now testing it out..He travels alot and finds it simple to take on the planes with him. I have a feeling the 6'6" 4 piece is a bit "LITTLE"....the one I built was 7'6"
