EVA foam glue up

I have a can of contact glue for eva foam glue ups. The advice from RodMaker is to not leave the container open too long as it changes the glue. So I have been opening the can and putting it in a film container and useing the smaller film container and a single use brush to do my glue up. Workes except how to transfer the glue to the smaller container? After a few messy spills I tried something new for me. I have some Syringes with a largeish end that are used for other things and get a little worn out. So I used one to suck up the glue from the can, worked great, so far so good. Instead or transfering it to a film container I usede it directly to put the glue on the foam and then spread it around with the brush. This worked very well and is very easy to do. No spill(no open container to knock over), easy measurement on to the foam, no left over blobie glue( I put the left over back in the can as it was not really exposed to the air) . Best of all the glue does not dry out at all so I do not have any little blobs of dry glue on the foam, and I can take my time puting on the glue. I have not tried the syringes with the smaller tips (Luer-lock, the needle tiped ones) yet, but i will give it a go as the Luer-lock ones come in a wider range of sizes. Ron, Have you tried contact spray adhesive? I'm thinking of doing a glue up grip using disks cut from 2mm eva foam. I know that 3M 90 adhesive is pretty strong stuff, and I was thinking about laying out all my disks on some waxed paper and spraying one side of the disks all at once, then pressing the glued sides face to face and then spraying one side of all the pairs, etc. It seems like a lot less work than brushing each one unless you're just inserting an occasional piece here and there.
