This is a little off subject but I have just painted a reel and am looking to put a overcoat over it. Something to protect it from the elements. Any suggestions?

Once the paint has dried( at least 24 hr.) I "shoot" a quality clear coat over it, something with UV resistance. A good urethane will work , you can choose either a matte, semi, or a gloss, depending on how shiny you want the finish.
Good luck , LARRY

Krylon clear isn't very durable; I wouldn't use their clear for it. I think it's a laquer paint.
