on my way to wal-mart to buy a rod! i have a wife that can give me this kind of grief for way , way less money!! how in the world do you cut rings for a checkerboard grip? have been up all night with this, and through ten bucks worth of cork! have a jig from clemen's,(the 20 dollar model) and still can not get a good cut! my momma told me i would have to try harder than the other kids! If you will do a quick search on this you will uncover a ton of info. In fact, just last week some guys were discussing how to get clean and accurate cuts in cork. Give the board archives a try. .......................... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
