Who builds the super lightweight blanks? I am speaking of the 1 wt - the 0 wt - and the 00 wt. Also, do any of our sponsors sell them? Re: Who builds the super lightweight blanks?

Dan's are appreciable lighter and less expensive. Dan generally makes no promises on the ERNs of the 0 weight blanks, since they are special runs. I have what feels like a 000 from Dan. E-mail him with what you want. Re: Who builds the super lightweight blanks?

When I think super light I think Five Rivers (Dan Craft). Great selection of unique offerrings, great service, and great prices. Re: Who builds the super lightweight blanks?

You can easily download Dans catalog on line , it's in Adobe PDF format . As for his service , it's second to none , as are a number of the fine sponsors of this board . John Re: Who builds the super lightweight blanks?

Lawrence, The postal system does lose things sometimes. Call him back and ask again. I got a copy last year or so and in record time. Re: Who builds the super lightweight blanks?

I contacted Dan for the first time 3 days ago. He was really courteous and helpful. Based on the comments from this board, I ordered an FT863-4 with a few other components. I received this TODAY along with a catalog. Wow! That's record time for anything I've ever ordered, and I'm about 3,000 miles away from Dan. Can't wait to build my new rod and go fishin'.
