Clear Labels

I have been looking for a good way to place the name of an individual on the rod blank. My penmanship is not the best so writing the name with a special pen is not an option. Does anyone know of a label that can be printed with an ink jet printer that works well?

Clear Avery type labels turn out not so clear when applied to a background other than white. You're better off with the decal paper/transfer sold by somebody like Decal Connection, or, just let them make the decals for you. Once covered with finish, your inscription will appear as if it was made directly on the rod.

You can access Jimi at Decal Connection from the list to the left. I think Jimi is going to be at Charlotte and would be able to make decals for you there, while you wait.

California Tackle and Custom Tackle Supply also supply similar decals.

Ink Jet labels will definately fade and sometimes very quickly. For the price, just shoot Jimi at Decal Connection an e-mail or check their web site (at the left) Can't beat their quality/service and you can order one decal if you want!!
