John called me at work today. I had asked a question about sizing reel seats in the "comments" box on my last order. I suspected he might e-mail me, or drop a note in the tube with my order, but this is really great customer service. He called me at work (it was a boring day, anyway) and spent some time with me on the phone explaining the mathamatical formula for finding the right size reel seat and hypalon for a particularly sized rod. Of course, a good businessman, he told me about the benefits of rod bond over regular epoxy, so I'll be ordering some of that with my next order (LOL) which will be from Mudhole, because of the great customer service! Thanks, John! -- JC

I completely agree!!!!! John has taken the time to personally call me on more than one occasion. I believe once was because of a question I asked in the 'comments' box when placing my online order and the other because HE had a question about the components I was ordering. It seems I had ordered various items that in his eyes weren't going to work together if they were meant for the same rod. John called to check and I verified that the components were intended to be used on different jobs. That's what I call a true 'heads up' and unparalleled customer service! Each time I speak with them on the telephone (even if it’s the woman that answers up front) I tell them how much I appreciate the care they express on each order I place. This is why I continue to do business with Mud Hole.
