Custom Tackle carries the aluminum one. I have this jig and love it. I dont think its on their website, you'll have to email Bob and ask.
Hope this helps,
Noel

Mike, Bob at Custom Tackle actually has two aluminum jigs. I believe both are essential, and the two will set you back $40. But the one for slicing rings thin and into six wedges is the most useful. I think that one was $25. they work great!

FYI...I have one of them from Bob @ Custom Tackle and it has two dies...one for cutting pie wedges for a checker board effect and one for cutting and making Diamonds in the cork.

They're great! Get them both! One slices thin rings and the other is for checkerboard and diamonds! Custom Tackle is the only one that sells them, I think

one thing to remenber when cutting the pie wedges is not to cut all the way through. Cut 3/4 through the ring then in each slot then go back and cut the rest of the way. This keeps each cut in line.

Mike, Could you describe the jig used for making thin slices? How thin can you slice a ring with it? Do you need to sand the slices after you cut them? Thanks
