Feather Inlay Issue

This afternoon I have contracted with my printer to reprint roughly 2000 copies of the January/February 1999 issue of RodMaker. This issue had the article Russ Gooding did on the Feather Inlay technique. It also contained a good article on cork, among other articles as well.

Due to the small quantity involved, they will be expensive. However, this is not something I am trying to make money on. It looks like I can sell and mail them for the standard price of any current back issue. I hope this will fill the gap which so many have in their back issue collection.

Before you ask the next question - I'll go ahead and answer it - No, I am not planning to reprint any other issues that are sold out. Even this one will not sell enough to pay for itself for a couple of years. There have been so many requests and the updated feather inlay article may be a ways off so I thought I'd bite the bullet and do this one.

You do not need to pre-order or reserve a copy. There will be plenty to go around. Expect it in April sometime. I'll announce it as soon as it is ready to mail.

Extremely glad to hear it, although those with an original copy may find the collector value to be greatly reduced!
