Hey all, I have been sitting in my office and contemplating some upcoming projects. One of which will be a 10wt for some Baja fun that I hope to plan soon. What I am wondering is, what are some of the methods to adding an eva or hypalon end to a cork fighting butt. I know I can buy them, but I prefer to build my own, maybe try out a few styles and see what I like best when all mocked up to the rod. Maybe something similar to the Sage Xi2 butt... Do they sell smaller chunks of eva that I can use for this? Are there special glues/techniques for bonding EVA and cork? I assume Rodbond would work. Also, when turning, are there any special considerations that I need to deal with? Thanks for any info in advance. It is always appreciated. Barret Re: Cork fighting butt with EVA?

Hi Barrett, We have EVA butt caps in our close out catalog and with the new 2004-2005 catalog you won't believe the price of them. If you don't have this catalog you need to order it as the catalog prices is alot cheaper than what we have on the website. We have eva grips below a Buck..
