rainshadow rx8(excel) blanks

starting on my second fly rod and was considering building a rainshadow rx8 9ft. 6weight. how would you compare this blank to loomis glx,st croix sc iv or upper end sage,are they even in the same ball park. i want a fast action light weight rod.

Fear not, these are dang nice blanks. I have a 3 piece 10wt and I sold my SCIV 10 wt after building this rod. As far as high end rods go, I would consider this rod most like the Scott STS. I'd say that puts it pretty far up the ladder.
