Hello Danny. No you just take your regular set-up except the butt guide, rotate them below the blank and add a guide between the butt guide and what was your 2nd guide but is now your first 180 degree guide at an even distance between the two and at 90 degrees. Hope that is understandable. Tight Wraps.

Hello Dan. I'm thinking airborne or something that you might be picking up on your hands, did you take a break just after putting on the last coat then come back and check on it, then maybe bring something back into the room with you on clothing hair or hands? Good Luck and let us know if you figure out what keeps doing this to your epoxy. Tight Wraps.

Hello Paul. I'm a master of over kill on these things, I like to use two of the FA graphite arbors, one on each end with a good gob of epoxy inbetween them, but like I said I go a bit overboard on these things. I would go with at least 3 of the GA's, IMHO, if you are using a Tuff Butt you can't be worried about weight much. Tight Wraps & a Strong Butt.

Hello Casey. I have one question for you, is the casting resin going to let the rod bend or is to solid and prone to break the blank with a BIG fish on? I think the idea is great but I would have used high build guide epoxy and maybe put some swirls of color in it to match the hardware or thread work. Tight Wraps.
