Thanks for the video. Are only 2 arbors of that length needed for that size seat. I have always used a full length arbor. Maybe overkill on my part. Steve

I cut my blocks into 2" by 2" by 15" long blocks and bore out with 3/8 inch bit on the lathe. I drill half way then flip the block. I use slow speed and back out frequently to clean out the cork shavings like Shane mentioned. Steve

Built a couple of Xray SB 683s for vertical jigging walleyes. They worked great this winter. Didnt get my ducks in a row and have placed 2 orders this spring already and now wishing I would have ordered an SJ 703 to try out.

I think that is an excellent response from Aleks and one that all should read. I was a first time customer last fall and did get frustrated with the length of time to receive my order but I totally get it now. I use cheap cork, golden oak filler then a couple thin coats of tru oil. My oldest builds are 13 years old and still clean up like new.Tru oil does darken the cork.

My first build was using a cane pole that carpet was rolled on and my last build was on an NFC Xray blank which way out performs the cane pole and a lot of other builds. Steve

My blanks shipped out on Monday. It was 8 weeks from my order date. Kelsey K did answer my emails and apologized that I had to wait so long. It seems they had some issues with raw materials they had to resolve. Steve
